Day 289 - October 15th

Whilst walking Millie this morning, rather than photographing the usual red berries in the hedgerow, I decided to photograph the darker black/blue berries which are appearing

There are lots of sloes appearing. My dad made Sloe Gin a few years ago but I don't remember him making any in recent years,

I think these berries may be Elderberries, although I'm not 100% sure.

The blackberries are at different stages. Some are not yet ripe, some are past their best and others like these look ripe for picking.
